Montreal, January 21, 2016–Caverly Pharmacy Solutions is delighted to announce that one of its primary pharmacy fixture suppliers, Uniweb Inc., is engaged in a comprehensive green initiative that reduces its energy consumption and makes extensive use of industry best-practices for environmental stewardship.

Founded in 1970, Uniweb addresses the commercial sector’s growing need for more space and versatility in display merchandising. The innovative steel panel design it created and developed has revolutionized the merchandising industry.

As part of its Go Green program, Uniweb ensures that its manufacturing processes emit no VOCs and use 100% reclaimed water. In the plant, it has put in place a wide-ranging series of energy reduction measures, including a computer controlled lighting system that automatically turns lights on and off at specified times, a computer controlled AC/heating system, and a comprehensive range of fuel and water saving measures. Additionally, the panels Uniweb manufactures contain 30% recycled steel, and are completely recyclable.
